Our tour guide , Marie (I am not sure of the Russian version of her name), was absolutely amazing. First of all I found her to be very warm and friendly. But more importantly she was so professional and so unbelievably knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited, about all of the history in Russia, about all of dates, facts and figures of significant events and was able to answer any question that came up, whether about historical or current Russia. She kept us on schedule and even added a few last minute places we wanted to see on the last day since we had extra time. In addition she took the time to help our family obtain tickets to Swan Lake for our first evening in St Petersburgh which was quite a treat for all of us.

Hi Bobby as our trip with you guys come to end I just want to say thanks for a well organised great experience. Everything went smoothly. Dear Alex, I am following upon my phone call to you last week about the wonderful trip you helped to arrange for me and my husband. Although I had booked an airbnb in Stockholm, you made our flight arrangements in a convenient way for us that allowed us to spend 24 wonderful hours in Helsinki and stay in a really great hotel, and you set up the ferry to St.Petersburg and the whole 72 hour tour we had there. Our guide Sergey was just marvelous – he is so very knowledgeable about history, the arts, and is a kind very hardworking and ever so thoughtful individual. We could not have done better than to be shown around and cared for by him.

Hi Bobby, We just recently returned from our St. Petersburg tour and it was outstanding. The hotel was truly lovely and Anna, our tour guide was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and very passionate about showing us her city. She definitely went above and beyond. Alexander, our driver was terrific as well. We had an amazing experience and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The ferry was a very different cultural experience but good value and entertainment! Passport control was a bit of a nightmare, but we had fun meeting new and interesting people! It couldn’t have turned out better. Many thanks for everything. Our three days in St. Petersburg were a real delight. WE were there during the "white nights" -- sunset around 11:30 pm, sunrise around 2:30 am. The long days were sunny and warm. Our guide, Olga Dashkevich, was a gem -- very knowledgeable and personable, she kept us moving through an array of sights and wonders. She even took us to her favorite pie shop, Stolle! The ferry Princess Anastasia was clean and comfortable; the buffet meals were well-prepared. Our only complaint: passport control into and out of St. Petersburg was a chaotic mess, perhaps because of all the World Cup fans coming and going. We would highly recommend East-West tours for their visa-free St. Petersburg options. – Tony Litwinski -
