Just returned from the cruise on the Volga river. I'm so glad we decided to do this cruise with the recommendations from the tour company East West Tours.The cruise was arranged very professionally, all details well prearranged. The ship was nice and the service was superb. The crew were helpful and did their best to make us happy. I didn't like all the food they served but definitely could find a lot of everything to my taste. The trips off the boat were well organized and we had a lot of fun in every place. My husband and I decided to see as much as possible of Russia and started looking for some cruise. East West Tour people offered us cruise on M/S Konstantin Fedin which we gladly took as we trust this company from our previous trips organised by them. The trip was rather luxurious. The cabin was not big but functional, with nice a bathroom. The beds were comfortable enough. The staff was young and pleasant and well-trained. We liked the food, especially the Russian type with plenty of vegetables. We made friends with a few lovely couples from Austria and New Zeland. The guides on land were mostly very good with good command of English and what we saw was beautiful and fascinating.
