Notes:

Train 70 is a local train. There are only 2nd class compartments. 1 st class passengers are accommodated in 2nd class compartment with double occupancy. The train also has a nice dining car that has a special menu for the passengers. Operates daily.

Train 20 “Vostok” is a Trans-Manchurian train and therefore does not pass through Mongolia (which means that a Mongolian visa is not required). The train is quite modern with comfortable 1st and 2nd class compartments and a good restaurant. Wheels are changed on the boarder Russia-China. It takes only a few hours. Departs Moscow Yaroslavskaya Station on Saturday, Irkutsk on Wednesdays
