EDUCATIONAL STUDENT TOURS
There is no doubt that education extends far beyond the classroom, and we believe that every student should have the opportunity to see the world outside their hometown, state, country and even continent. We are dedicated to create a meaningful experience for your students that goes beyond seeing tourist sights, and provide opportunities for active engagement in local life and culture like visits to schools, hospitals and businesses.
We have been operating educational tours to Russia and beyond since 1990 and we offer a world of knowledge and experience that you won't find neither at your local travel agency nor with the large tour operator. We will take care of every single detail of your Russian trip, complete with airfare, meals, tourist visas, social visits and evening performances. Whether it is social studies, history, art or literature, we will customize the tour to match the curriculum and learning objectives. Our tours promote cultural diversity and encourage learning through travel.
Your students will return home not only with memories but with enriched mind, spirit and soul.
First of all Alex was great to work with. From May of 2017 when I first proposed this idea to the day before we left in March 2018, Alex was on top of all of the plans and helped guide me through it all. He is very easy to work with and very knowledgeable about putting together an interesting tour package at a very affordable price. The tours were wonderful, covering a lot to see in such a short time, yet were not overwhelming for a group dealing with a new culture and jet lag. The tour guides in Russia were awesome; very knowledgeable about their respective cities and the tours they provided as well as extremely helpful when asked for suggestions about our days off in each city. They also knew the best places to find souvenirs and such. The train trip between Moscow and Saint Petersburg was divine - the best train trip I have ever had in Russia. I can't wait to try it again! The accommodations were great. Both hotels were near metro stops, making transportation a breeze for getting around. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff in each hotel was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffets were good, with something for everyone to try and to get their day off to a good start. This is my second time booking a trip through East/West tours, and I will gladly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Russia. Central Valley High School (Spokane, WA - 2018)
