Review about Golden Eagle Trans - Siberian Westbound by Levin Borer, Switzerland

Our trip from Vladivostok to Moscow in the Trans-Siberian train Golden Eagen was a fairy tale. It was fun to book it through East West Tours as they made it very easy to make a choice (I'm not the one who easily makes purchase decision). The Golden Eagle is akin to a 5-star hotel on wheels, comprising up to 21 cars. Our cabin had a sofa, a work area, an LCD screen, wardrobe, shower, and toilet. The daily activities were either on-train or off-train tours of cities or countryside. The food on the train was fantastic, with plenty of choices of meals and drinks. We had personal tours of the Kremlin in Moscow, visited the sites associated with the murders of the Romanovs in Yekaterinburg, Lake Baikal offered fantastic scenery, in Irkutsk we enjoyed the most tasty food. The guides all spoke good English and were knowledgeable about the history of their country. The hotels were of good standard. Our journey across Russia on the Golden Eagle was truly memorable.
