Review about Imperial Capitals by Karen Dyck

Rating: 5
Hi Dora, This email has been a long time coming, since my trip was back in May. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my trip to Russia. I wanted other travelers who are planning to travel on their own to know that even though I was travelling on my own, I felt safe and extremely well taken care of by the tour guides in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Meridien in Moscow was a great hotel and the perfect spot for seeing the military parade on Victory Day since the roads are closed and the parade goes right past the hotel into Red Square. There were so many celebrations on the streets that day; it was great way to spend my first full day in Russia. We were able to get a last minute ticket to the Bolshoi ballet which I attended before taking the night train to St P. I loved St. Petersburg with all its history and Maria as a tour guide full of every kind of story. The Radisson in St P was also a very nice hotel on the main street, which made it easy for me to navigate my way when shopping or looking for local restaurants. Thanks for your support
