Itinerary:

Day 1  : Arrive in Krakow

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner. (D)

Day 2  : Explore Krakow

Our morning sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wawel Hill, The Royal Castle and The Royal Cathedral. Next, take a walking tour of the Old Town, the Main Market Square, Renaissance Cloth Hall, and St. Mary’s Church. The afternoon is free for you to go for a stroll, browse through shops, sample local delicacies (such as sernik or szarlotka), or simply relax. (B)

Day 3  : Krakow to Warsaw

In the morning, join a tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous concentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, continue to Czestochowa and visit the Yasna Gora Monastery, renowned for the revered Black Madonna painting. In the late afternoon, arrive in Warsaw – the capital city of Poland. (B, D)

Day 4  : Explore Warsaw

As a symbol of Polish nationhood and resilience, Warsaw’s 700-year-old history holds great significance. The sightseeing tour includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace – the summer residence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture – known as The Wedding Cake. See the Saxon Gardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument of the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Town, Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for shopping, a stroll through the city, relaxing in one of the many parks or gardens, or perhaps an optional late afternoon Chopin concert. (B)

Day 5  : Warsaw to Vilnius

Drive across the Polish countryside, cities, and towns as you head to Vilnius – the capital of Lithuania. Arrive at the end of the day. (B,D)

Day 6  : Explore Vilnius

Vilnius is located on the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers. Tour the Old Vilnius, visit baroque St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church and the striking St. Anne’s Church. View Vilnius University, dating back to 1570, the famous Gediminas’ Tower, and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free to continue exploring, or you may want to join an optional excursion to the peaceful town of Trakai which is set beautifully on three lakes. (B)

Day 7  : Vilnius to Riga

Depart in the morning for Riga – the captivating capital city of Latvia. The remainder of the day is yours to begin exploring the city, with its intriguing architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant atmosphere. (B)

Day 8  : Explore Vilnius

Begin the day with a captivating sightseeing tour of Riga. Start with Riga Castle situated on the picturesque banks of the Daugava River. Visit the magnificent Dome Cathedral, St. Jacobs Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Parliament building, the iconic Liberty Monument, and explore the charming district of Art Nouveau houses. Immerse yourself in the rich history and architectural beauty of the city. The remainder of the day is yours to further explore, indulge in some shopping, or perhaps savor the delightful taste of Latvian crepes. (B)

Day 9  : Riga to Tallinn

Today, our journey will take us to Estonia. The first stop is Narva, set just across the border with Russia. Continue to Tallinn – the capital city situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. (B, D)

Day 10  : Explore Tallinn

Embark on a captivating walking tour of Tallinn’s Upper and Lower Old Town. Visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a stunning example of Russian Orthodox architecture. Explore the historic Toompea Castle, dating back to the 14th century, and marvel at the gothic Town Hall. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, whether you choose to further explore the city before an overnight stay in Tallinn. (B)

Day 11  : Depart from Tallinn

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Tallinn airport for your departure. (B)
