1. The tour leader , Alec, was excellent. He knew so much information, had a great attitude and was very willing to make sure that I received gluten-free food. In addition, he went out of his way a couple times to make sure that two different couples were able to go to places where ancestors lived or where they had actually lived as children. It was never a problem for the other members of the group as we were all excited that the company would do this for them. It was never far out of the way, but it was very special. 2. I think one thing that the company could do better is give us more details about when we’re having lunch. Also, for provided meals it would be helpful to know how many courses we were going to have. 3.

I really enjoyed my trip! The guide and the hotel in St. Petersburg were awesome. The places we visited in St. Petersburg were amazing as well. I also enjoyed the time on the boat. The food was great. Moreover, I enjoyed the time in Helsinki and Tallin. I only had a few hours in these cities, but with good planning it is possible to make the most of these hours. I also liked the fact the tour was starting in Stockholm in the evening and ending in Stockholm in the morning. That gave me some time to visit Stockholm. – Laurianne -

I can’t say enough good things about this trip. I just came back from my trip . Poland is a beautiful country with quite an amazing history.Things could not have gone smoother from beginning to end.
Our tour guide, Anna, was amazing & so knowledgeable. She was also kind, patient & considerate.
I also need to mention our driver who was wonderful.
I would highly recommend this tour.  It was a memorable, safe, fun, interesting trip.- David

This was an excellent tour. Customer service at the hotel, in the restaurant and by our guide and driver was perfection. Our guide is was a professional that gave us all the information and history to aid us in learning and appreciating Russia. Recently returned from a wonderful "Splendors of Russia" tour, from 9/6 – 9/16. Everything went very well. Natasha in Moscow and Maria in St. Petersburg were excellent guides; both were very knowledgeable and caring. The hotels were excellent and the sights were well chosen. I had a wonderful time. My only suggestions, which seemed to be shared by many others, are to increase the length of the trip to at least 14 days (4days more), with most of that time being free time to explore on our own. I felt very safe in both Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and would have loved to have more time to make my own discoveries. But I am very glad to have chosen East-West-Tours for my first venture to Russia. I hope to return within my visa time.
