Our journey ran from Moscow to Beijing in two trains  – Golden Eagle  and Shangrila Express. They both were luxury trains, We liked all the places we visited, we learned so much about each country’s culture and history. The excursions were very well organized, with good guides. We also liked the hotels which all were 5 star and good standard. The food was not always of good taste but acceptable. We did this trip in 2015 from Beijing to Moscow. We booked the tour through East West Tour and I can't say enough positive things about the service we received from them. The trip runs from Beijing to Moscow and is operated by Golden Eagle Luxury Trains Limited. We liked about this trip: The pre-tour information and organization of all the details before we took a flight to Beijing. The possibility to experience so many countries, a number of exotic cities and the places around them. We got a better idea of their culture and history as well as the ordinary life. The day trips were well chosen and well organized with knowledgeable and friendly local guides.
