Lviv and Carpathian mountains

Lviv was nothing like what I imagined would look like. It is a very western city with art nouveau, neo-renaissance and gothic buildings. A lot of beautiful churches, parks, the old town ….. It seems that Lviv was touched by the Soviet style the least of all the Ukrainian cities. The castles we visited were impressive and our guide Dmitrij was a gem – excellent English and a very intelligent person. Thank you east-west-tours for this perfectly arranged tour. Well arranged trip to Lviv and the castles

I wish to thank you for all your help in planning our trip from St. Petersburg to Moscow. All went very well. The train ride was uneventful. We did need some assistance from the concierge at our hotel in St. Petersburg in deciphering the signs in the railroad station. We had her write our the words "departure" and "arrival" in Russian, so we would know what track our train would be leaving.
