Review about Transsiberian Train Tour to Vladivostok by Karen and friends, Austria

Rating: 5
This summer we took a 17 day trip on the trans-Siberian railway, Moscow to Vladivostok with stops in Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk/Lake Baikal. The trip was set up for us in the most efficient way. The travel company East West Tours suggested the itinerary and all went the way they promised. Hotels everywhere seemed to be up to Western standards, except perhaps Hotel Vladivostok. It was very hot and the room had no air conditionig. Fortunately the windows opened and there was a fan. The guides on the stops were very friendly and spoke good English. We also did a lot of sightseeing on our own which was great . Too much history sometimes is boring. It seemed to be easy to change money in the cities. We used ATM. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the tour company , the transfers, the guides, the hotels, and the whole trip was arranged to our wishes. We would use this company again.
