We had a nice holiday on the Volga river. It was a very beautiful time with lots of experience and fun. We were so impressed with the vessel itself, the food and the service. The crew were friendly, smiling, accommodating and efficient. All activities were well planned. Guided excursions were interesting with knowledgeable guides. We were impressed by the possibility to attend concerts every night performed by opera stars, a pianist, and an accordionist. Itinerary:

Day 1  : Moscow

Transfer from the airport to the ship

Day 2  : Moscow

City tour by bus will take you to the most famous areas in Moscow within the boundaries of the Garden Ring and the Boulevard Ring. You will drive by Kremlin, Red Square and Kitay Gorod area, Tverskaya, Arbat and Zamoskvorechje areas. The overview will include famous landmarks like Red Square and Kremlin, Novodevichy Convent, Luzhniki, the White House, area along Moskva River and other notable places of interest.

Day 3  : Moscow

Today you will get aquainted with the Red Square and Kremlin area. This is where you will see the famous St. Basil's Cathedral, Mausoleum, Historical Museum and GUM store. Inside Kremlin the main landmarks are three Cathedrals of the Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel, dated back to the 15-16th centuries, Ivan the Great Bell Tower, Tsar Bell, Tsar Cannon, Hall of Facets and Terem Place. Inside visit to 1 cathedral

Day 4  : Uglich

Walking city tour with the visit to the territory of the Kremlin, Dmitry on the Blood Church, Transfiguration Cathedral

Day 5  : Yaroslavl

Bus city tour, local market (free time), Church of St Elijah the Prophet (outside), the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (inside visit), Interactive tour of former Governor’s House (Art Gallery)

Day 6  : Goritsy

Monastery of St. Cyril on the White Lake, museum of icons
