Dear Alex, We are back form our Russia tour and we want to thank you for an excellent experience. All went as planned, the guide (Masha in St. Petersburg), drivers, hotels and restaurants were excellent. The people we traveled with were a delight. We learned so much about your country, and about each other. It was a most memorable experience. We would be happy to speak or email any future clients about this great trip. There was an event that you at East West Tours should know about, that might help future travelers. While in St. Petersburg, we stayed at the Grand Hotel Emerald. It was beautiful, with a splendid breakfast buffet. However, our rooms and those of others on this tour faced the inner atrium. On 2 evenings while we were there, the hotel had wedding parties in the atrium, with loud, VERY LOUD music and celebrations until 11pm. The hotel gave each room a small box of candy to apologize for the noise, but the candy did not soften the noise. I hope this anecdote is helpful in bringing this wonderful experience to others.
