The program starts with Riga city tour followed by picturesque drive through Baltic countryside, visiting medieval Trakai Castle, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses, capital cities of Vilnius and Tallinn, and exploring smaller cities of Tartu, Parnu and Sigulda

Day 1  : RIGA

Welcome to Riga, the capital of Latvia! Transfer to the hotel (individual transfers are not included). At 7:00PM attend a welcome meeting at the hotel with your tour guide. Overnight in Riga.

Day 2  : RIGA

The city tour of Riga begins after breakfast at 9:00AM. This combined coach and walking tour will offer the most significant historical and architectural sights of Riga including driving along its central boulevards, the views of the City Canal Parks, old Bastion Hill and the Powder Tower, the Latvian National Theatre and Latvian Opera House, the Fine Arts Museum, famous Art Nouveau Buildings from the beginning of the 20th century, Freedom Monument, University of Latvia, the Daugava River. During the walking part of the tour you will experience the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic City: picturesque streets of the Old Town, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, St. Jacob’s Church, St. Mary Magdalene's Church, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the Parliament House, and the Old Riga Castle. Following the visit of the famous Riga Market, you can join an optional afternoon excursion to Jurmala and optional Latvian cuisine dinner. Overnight in Riga.


After breakfast, we will depart for Estonia and its beautiful capital Tallinn. We will stop in Pärnu, Estonia, better known as the "Summer Capital." This small town has been known as a summer health resort ever since the first spa opened back in the 1830s. After you arrive in Tallinn, you will check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night relaxing on your own. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 4  : TALLINN

Morning city tour of Tallinn. You will visit the Old Town of Tallinn - an example of Gothic architecture in the Baltic and Nordic countries. The tour includes Toompea Castle fortifications, the Dome Church (13th century), the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky (19th century), Town Hall Square (15th century), St. Catherine's Passage where artists of St. Catherine guild present their work, and St. Olaf’s Church. An afternoon optional excursion to Kadriorg Park and a visit to Kadriorg Palace will also be available. In the evening, enjoy an optional dinner at medieval restaurant. Overnight in Tallinn.


In the morning, you will continue your tour from Tallinn to Sigulda. A remarkable stopover in Tartu, the second largest town in Estonia, and from there you will begin your tour of the city which includes stops to Tartu University, Toome Hill Park with its many monuments, sculptures, bridges, and ruins from the gothic church, and an incredible panoramic view of the area with Jaani Church and Town Hall Square. Upon arriving in Sigulda, Latvia, you will take a short visit to the small, ancient town of Cesis for a stroll in Castle Park. Later, you will check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the evening relaxing on your own. Overnight in Sigulda.


Morning walk through Gauja National Park begins at 9:00am this morning. We will visit Turaida castle and the ruins of the 13th century Crusader Castle. Later, upon arrival in Vilnius, you will check-in at the hotel and the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy. Overnight in Vilnius.


Morning city tour of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania starts at 9:00am. This tour includes visits to St. Peter-and-Paul's Church, Gediminas Castle, Cathedral Square with St. Stanislow Cathedral and Bell Tower, St. Ann and Bernardines' Church, Amber gallery-museum, Užupis, one of the oldest districts of Vilnius, mentioned in the historical sources as far back as the 16th century and nowadays referred to as the artists' "Republic," which has its own constitution, national anthem, calendar and map, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square and Vilnius University (founded in 1579) with St. John's Church.

Later, you will take an afternoon trip to Trakai (25 km/16 mi from Vilnius), the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania where you will visit the insular castle of the 14th century, erected on a small island in Lake Galvė. In the evening you will return to Vilnius and enjoy an optional Lithuanian cuisine dinner. Overnight in Vilnius.


Depart at 9:00am by coach to Riga, the capital of Latvia. En route enjoy an unforgettable stop at the Hill of Crosses (16 km/10 mi from Šiauliai), a holy site with thousands of crosses on two small hills. Later, you will continue driving to Riga and stop in Rundale to explore Rundale Palace of the 18th century, a beautiful late baroque example in Latvia. This palace represents an early work of the famous Italian architect, F.B. Rastrelli. In the evening, you will arrive in Riga, check-in at your hotel, and spend the rest of the evening relaxing on your own. Overnight in Riga.

Day 9  : RIGA

Today marks the end of your tour. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then make your way to the airport to head home.
