WINE TOUR (Amberd fortress / Alphabet Park / Armas winery - 7 hours - 150 USD per person ( min 2 persons)

The day starts with a drive to Amberd fortress, which was built in the 11th to 13th centuries on a naturally well-defended cape. Amberd has served as an important military fort. Next to this secular edifice there is a church built in 1026 by the duke Vahram Pahlavuni.

Continue to Aragatsotn region. Visit the Alphabet Park (In commemoration of Armenian alphabets 1600th birthday, it is the only alphabet in the world to which there is a monument dedicated.).         

Proceed to Armas Estate that prides for its high quality wine production of various types. Wine degustation with lunch.

Active tour in Tavush region - 126 USD per person - 7 hours (min. 2 people)

Drive to Yenokavan.The day starts with an excursion to Yenokavan village beautifully located in the highlands of Tavush region. Here you will have the chance to take some leisure and extreme activities at “Apaga” Active Club. The club gives opportunity to take tutored horse rides, on-horse trips through the territory of the Club. For the adventurers, there is a chance for hiking or on-horse trips through wild nature to the natural cave “Lastiver”. Meanwhile, the extreme lovers can go for Zip-line jumping to get the real drive of flying from above. After an adventurous day you can enjoy a good meal of local, natural products. 

Tsaghkadzor – Dilijan National Park (8 hours) - 126 USD per person (min 2 persons)

Departure to Tsaghkadzor city “Flowers of Gorge”  , a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located in the north of the capital Yerevan. Here you can participate in best hiking trails. Drive to the spectacular forested region of Dilijan, where there is a chance for hiking in Dilijan national park (hiking assistance 35 Euro). You can walk through a museum street, with the buildings preserved from 19 c., ceramics workshop and woodcarvers’ studio.

Yerevan/ Saghmosavank / Stepanavan Dendropark (8 hours) - 126 USD per person (min 2 persons)

Early morning departure to Saghmosavank, a 13th entury Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Saghmosavan in the Aragatsotn Province. Later on take a trip to Lori region, the medieval fortress-town Lori (Lori Berd) founded in the XI century. Stepanavan Dendropark is an arboretum located near the Gyulagarak village, Lori Province. Located around 85 km north of the capital Yerevan, the park was founded in 1931 by Polish engineer-forester Edmund Leonowicz. The arboretum is 35 ha in total of which 17.5 ha consist of natural forest and 15 ha of ornamental trees.



Arrival at the Zvartnots airport. Meet and greet transfer, accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2  : YEREVAN

Yerevan city tour - Etchmiadzin - Tsitsernakaberd memorial park - Vernisage flea market

In the morning meet your tour guide and start city tour around Yerevan. Drive to Echmiadzin – the place where the only Begotten descended. Holy Echmiadzin is the whole Armenians’ spiritual center and one of the centers of Christianity all over the world. They will participate in Sunday liturgy.

Return to Yerevan with a stop at the ruins of Zvartnots temple - the pearl of the 7th century architecture, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage.

After lunch (not inlcuded), visit Tsitsernakaberd - walking through Memorial park and visit museum of the victims of Genocide. Visit Cafesjian Show Room. Visit Vernisage flea market, the place to get a little taste of Armenia, to see the fusion between national traditions, art & crafts with contemporary taste.

Khor-Virap monastery - Noravank monastery

Sightseeing tour to Khor-Virap monastery the importance of which is connected with Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia. It is a wonderful masterpiece situated on top of a hill. It is a pilgrimage place where every year a lot of tourists and native people visit. It looks like a castle where everybody has the hint to sit and dream while admiring the beauty of the church. The highlight is the best view to the biblical Mt. Ararat.
Continue tour to Noravank monastery - religious and cultural centre of 13th c. It is situated in a narrow gorge which is known for its’ tall, sheer, brick red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The beauty of this monastery is appreciated by thousands of visitors not only because of its’ architecture and history, but for its harmony with surrounding fabulous nature. Drive back to the capital city.

Lake Sevan - Sevanavank Monastery - Garni temple - Geghard monastery

Departure to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater alpine mountain lakes in the world. The beautiful landscape and the crystal water serve nice preconditions for excellent rest. Visit Sevanavank Monastery.
Departure to Garni Temple. Garni temple, which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. After adopting Christianity in 301, the pagan temple lost its significance and the fortress of Garni became the summer residence of the kings.Lunchtime.
Drive to Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Geghard monastery is the unsurpassable masterpiece of the 13th century Armenian architecture. Some of the churches of the complex are masterfully hewn in a huge rock. The complex is rich in subtle sculptural embellishments and many striking khachkars (cross-stones). Return to Yerevan.
