Itinerary:

Day 1  : RIGA

Welcome to Riga! Transfer to the hotel upon arrival (optional) and check-in. Welcome meeting in the hotel lobby with your tour guide at 7:00pm. OVERNIGHT: Riga 

Day 2  : RIGA

Today city tour of Riga begins at 9:00am. A combined walking and coach tour will encompass the most significant sights of Riga including driving along the central boulevards of Riga, enjoying the view of the Canal ParksBastion Hill, the Powder TowerLatvian National Theatre, the Fine Arts Museum, the Art Nouveau Buildings from the beginning of the 20th century, the Freedom MonumentUniversity of LatviaLatvian National Opera House, and the Daugava River. During the walking part of the tour, we will enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic City with the picturesque streets of the Old Town, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish GateSt. Jacob's ChurchSt. Mary Magdalene's Church, the Parliament House, and Old Riga Castle. Later, we will visit the famous market halls of Riga. An optional exursion to Jurmala will be available in the afternoon. Day 3  : RIGA - PÄRNU - TALLINN (300 km/186 mi)

This morning we will depart for Tallinn at 9:00am, stopping in Pärnu, Estonia, better known as the "Summer Capital." This small town has been known as a summer health resort since the first spa opened here in the 1830s. Later, we will drive to Tallinn, check-in at the hotel, and spend the evening relaxing on your own. OVERNIGHT: Tallinn

Day 4  : TALLINN

Morning city tour of Tallinn begins after breakfast at 9:00am. We will visit the Old Town of Tallinn, a stunning example of Gothic architecture in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The tour will include Toompea Castle fortifications, the Dome Church dating back to the 13th century, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky dating back to the 19th century, andTown Hall Square dating back to the 15th century, St. Olaf's Church and St. Catherin's Passage where artists of St. Catherine guild go to present their work. An optional excursion in the afteroon is available to Kadriog Park and Kadriorg Palace. Enjoy an optional dinner in the evening at the medieval restaurant, "Peppersack," or somewhere similar. OVERNIGHT: Tallinn 

Day 5  : TALLINN - TARTU - SIGULDA

This morning, we will depart at 9:00AM from Tallinn to Sigulda. En route stopover in Tartu,city tour of Tartu including stops to Tartu UniversityToome Hill Park with its many monuments, sculptures, bridges, and ruins from the gothic church, and an incredible panoramic view of the area with Jaani Church and Town Hall Square. Upon arriving in Sigulda (Latvia), we will take a short visit to the small, ancient town of Cesis for a stroll in Castle Park. Later, you will check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the evening relaxing on your own. OVERNIGHT: Sigulda

Day 6  : SIGULDA - VILNIUS(350 km/217 mi)

Your walk through Gauja National Park begins at 9:00AM this morning in Sigulda where you will visit Turaida castle and the ruins of the 13th centruy Crusader Castle. Continue to Vilnius. Upon arrival, l check-in at the hotel and the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy. OVERNIGHT: Vilnius

Day 7  : VILNIUS - TRAKAI - VILNIUS (50 km/31 mi)

This morning, your city tour of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, begins at 9:00AM. This tour includes visits to St. Peter and Paul's ChurchGediminas CastleCathedral Square with St. Stanislow Cathedral and Bell TowerSt. Ann and Bernardines' ChurchesAmber gallery-museumUžupis, one of the oldest districts of Vilnius, mentioned in the historical sources as far back as the 16th century and nowadays referred to as the artists' "Republic," which has its own constitution, national anthem, calendar and map, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy SpiritTown Hall Square and Vilnius University (founded in 1579) with St. John's Church.

Afternoon trip to Trakai (25 km/16 mi from Vilnius), the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania where you will visit the insular castle of the 14th century, erected on a small island of Lake Galvė. In the evening you will return to Vilnius and enjoy an optional dinner at the Lithuanian cuisine restaurant, “Lokys” or somewhere similar. OVERNIGHT: Vilnius

Day 8  : VILNIUS - DRUSKININKAI

Breakfast at the hotel before departure to Druskininkai. You will stop in the Grutas village to visit Grutas Park, an open air exhibition of the Soviet era showcasing many Soviet monuments and sculptures. Upon arrival in Druskininkai, you will check-in at the hotel before heading out on a city tour of Druskininkai, the oldest health resort in Lithuania. The mineral springs here are this town's pride and joy. The king of Poland and Lithuania announced a decree in 1794 officially designating Druskininkai as a health resort. You will be able to try various spa treatments (for an additional charge) at the health center. Later in the evening, dinner is served at the hotel. OVERNIGHT: Druskininkai

Day 9  : DRUSKININKAI - KAUNAS - KLAIPEDA - JUODKRANTE - NIDA

After breakfast we depart for Nida. Stop in Kaunas, the second largest city of Lithuania, city tour of Kaunas including ruins of the castle, the Cathedral, and Town Hall Square with its many impressive monuments. Later in the day arrive in Klaipeda and take a ferry to the Curonian Spit. Visit the Hill of Witches where you'll see a collection of wooden sculputeres by local artists, based on Lithuanian folklore characters, sprinkled along a forest path in a quite seaside resort Juodkrante. Upon arrival in Nida, dinner will be served at the hotel. OVERNIGHT: Nida

Day 10  : NIDA

Today we will go on a walking tour of the Nida resort, including the Fisherman's house-museum, the house of famous German writer Thomas Mann, the Amber Gallery, an oldethnographic cemetery, a neo-gothic church, and a walk along impressive sand dunes. OVERNIGHT: Nida

Day 11  : NIDA

Enoy your leisure time in the old fishing village of Nida. Situated on the Curonian Spit and washed by the Baltic Sea from one side and the Curonian Lagoon from the other, this unique piece of land is fun to explore. Today, Nida is the largest settlement in the town of Neringa and definitely one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania. The ancient fishermen's architecture is distinguished by its originality. You can choose to partake in a number of activies, such as cycling or water sports. OVERNIGHT: Nida 

Day 12  : NIDA

Day 13  : NIDA - MINIJA - VENTE - KLAIPEDA

Depart by boat at 11:00am from Nida to the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park. En route we will stop in Aukštadvaris and visit a lighthouse built in 1876. Afterward, continue on to theKintai settlement and pass through the Minija village better known as the Lithuanian Venice where the River Minija serves as the main street. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Kintai where you will be able to taste the local fish dish. Later, depart by coach to the Vente Hornand visit the ornithological station and the 19th century lighthouse. Arrive in Klaipeda that evening, check-in at the hotel, and spend the rest of the night relaxing on your own. OVERNIGHT: Klaipeda

Day 14  : KLAIPEDA - PALANGA - KLAIPEDA

Today, we will go on a city tour of Klaipeda, the main seaport of Lithuania, including a walk in the old part of the town, interesting for its frame-built architecture, cozy closed yards, paved streets, post office, and Theatre Square which showcases a sculpture of "Annchen von Tharau." Later, you will take a trip to Palanga, the biggest seaside resort in Lithuania. Yourcity tour will include a visit to the Botanical Garden and Amber Museum in the palace ofCount Tyszkiewicz, with over 25,000 pieces of amber and 15,000 inclusions of insects on display. A further walk by the Birut Hill along the sea coast and over the sea bridge brings you to pedestrian Basanaviciaus street, famous for its restaurants and cafes featuring live music. Return to Klaipeda in the evening and enjoy an optional dinner at the restaurant, "Taravos Anike" or somewhere similar. OVERNIGHT: Klaipeda

Day 15  : KLAIPEDA - HILL OF CROSSES - RUNDALE - RIGA

epart at 9:00am by coach to Riga, the capital of Latvia. A stop at the Hill of Crosses (16 km/10 mi from Šiauliai), the unforgettable place with thousands of crosses on two small hills. Later, you will drive to Riga and stop in Rundale to visit Rundale Palace of the 18th century, a beautiful late baroque palace in Latvia. This palace is a beautiful example of early work of famous Italian architect, F.B. Rastrelli. In the evening, you will arrive in Riga, check-in at your hotel, and spend the rest of the evening relaxing on your own. OVERNIGHT: Riga

Day 16  : RIGA

Today marks the end of your tour. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
